Angel doing 2 movies this year

ANGEL Locsin is currently busy with two movie projects this year.

Angel is doing "One More Try," which is Star Cinema's entry to the 2012 Metro Manila Film Festival in December and a horror-comedy flick with "Toda Max" co-actor Vhong Navarro.

Although she has been successful both in the big screen and on television, the actress wishes to do television series again.

Her last project was a back-to-back team-up with John Lloyd Cruz in "Imortal" and the well-received movie "Unofficially Yours."

Angel said she won't be doing a television series this year. "There are plans but it won't be this year. Most likely next year," she said.

"I really enjoy doing films, but since I'm a breadwinner, I want to be able to save up," she added.

The actress is positive that next year is the best time for her to do a television series.

Meantime, ABS-CBN is reportedly acquiring rights to Mars Ravelo classics Dyesebel, Captain Barbell and Darna.

Angel played the role of Darna in a GMA-7 adaption of the popular comic heroine before she transferred to ABS-CBN. Angel is reportedly reprising her role but sources said it is not yet offered to her. Other names being considered for the role are Cristine Reyes and Jessy Mendiola. (Sunnex)
