Matteo, Coco end rift at Star Magic Ball

ONE year after the controversial Star Magic Ball altercation between Matteo Guidicelli and Coco Martin, the two finally made peace in this year's event.

Held at the Makati Shangri-la Hotel Saturday evening, the two Kapamilya actors crossed paths again, but this time it was a different picture.

Matteo was assigned to present the Standout Star of the Night trophy at the annual event. Coincidentally, Coco won the award.

People inside the Rizal Ballroom cheered when Coco approached Matteo to receive the award.

"Another fun, exciting and fresh Star Magic Ball. I got the opportunity to hug him, kiss his hands, be sweet with him," the Cebuano actor said.

Matteo said it was their first meeting after the heated incident at Salon de Ning in The Peninsula Manila. The young actor was happy that all is well between them now.

"It's very nice na lahat ng Star Magic artists ay magkaibigan, nagkita lahat. Basta dito isang pamilya kami, si Tita Mariol (Alberto) and Mr. M (Johnny Manahan) and mga magulang namin dito. We have to make good impression and be a happy family," he said.

Actress Maja Salvador remained silent during the whole scene. To recall, she's the center of the altercation last year. Matteo reportedly got jealous over Maja and Coco's on-screen team-up.

After the incident, Maja confirmed on "The Buzz" that she's in a relationship with Matteo.

The two, however, broke up days before the Star Magic Ball.

When asked how is his relationship now with Maja, Matteo replied: "We're good, we're friends. Nothing is wrong." (Sunnex)
