Bianca moves on after break-up with John

BIANCA Manalo said she has moved on after her break-up with John Prats and looking forward to finally meet her Prince Charming.

Bianca came with showbiz friends at the 6th Star Magic Ball at the Makati Shangri-la Hotel last Saturday. It was her first time to attend the annual gathering of ABS-CBN talents.

"Exciting ito. This is going to be fun," said Bianca when greeted by the entertainment press.

Bianca denied that her new hair style was a result of the break up. Her new TV endorsement requires her to have a shorter hair, she said.

"It is for my endorsement. It is part of my contract with them [new sponsor]. Kahit itanong ninyo pa kay John, alam niyang nung kahit kami pa na icu-cut talaga yung hair ko. Kung dahil ito sa break-up eh four months ko pa ito ginawa," she said.

Although it was hard for her to let go of her locks, Bianca said her new look is all worth it.

While the former beauty queen was sashaying the red carpet, John was also in the area. Bianca said it was their first time to see each other after the controversial break-up.

Bianca said there wouldn't be any awkward moment between them because they are happy with their separate lives.

"I'm very, very happy now. I'm enjoying the company of my family and friends. Sa ngayon eh yun pa muna. I'm trying to enjoy myself and focus muna sa career," she said.

"[When we see each other] I think nothing is going to be wrong with that. Marami din naman kaming magagandang pinagsamahan together, masasayang memories. I don't think na magkaka-problema," she further said.

Bianca said she now focuses on good things and reiterated that she's the kind of woman who would accept things and move forward.

"Bilang babae, pagnasaktan ka eh talagang masakit. Naniniwala ako na you can swallow, you can grieve but you have to give your grieve a deadline. Na hanggan dito lang ako, na naiyak ko na eh, okay na ako," she said.

"Yun ang mahalaga. Masaya na siya, masaya na ako. Masaya na kaming dalawa sa bawat ginagawa naming," she added.

When asked if she's open to finding another inspiration, Bianca said she's not looking but not also closing her doors. She knows God has a perfect plan for her and she's yet to meet that one person who will truly love her. (Sunnex)
