LJ Reyes tight-lipped on relationship with Paolo Avelino

"ASO ni San Roque" actress LJ Reyes remains silent on the real status of her relationship with "Walang Hanggan" actor and real-life partner Paolo Avelino.

"Maraming beses ko nang sinagot yan. Tingin ko hindi na kailangan sagutin. Paulit-ulit lang kasi and ayoko na ako yung magsalita [I answered that question several times. I don't want to speak anymore]," LJ said when asked during the grand launch of her new show.

The Kapuso star added that things are working well between them and their main priority now is their two-year-old baby, Ethan Akio.

LJ added that she prefers not to talk about Paolo, his career and personal life because it is the prerogative of the actor to actually speak for himself.

She clarified no one is telling her to keep mum on these things, but she thinks that she's not in a position to actually speak about it.

LJ said Paolo is a quiet person and prefers to keep his silence when it comes to private matters. "It is his personality," she said.

When asked if she's disappointed that the actor keeps silent on their relationship, LJ said things are okay between them and she is very secured with what they have.

She said she supports Paolo's blossoming career in ABS-CBN. LJ said she's not affected by the latter's team-up with Julia Montes.

"We know it is work. He has his own way of showing to me that I am secured with him. He deserves to be trusted. I don't want to control him," she said.

While doing "Aso ni San Roque," LJ will also be part of the upcoming horror flick "Tiktik: The Aswang Chronicle," which is slated to be released this October.
