'Be Careful With My Heart' rewind on Saturdays

AFTER the warm reception of viewers in the daytime television program "Be Careful With My Heart," Jodi Sta. Maria and Richard Yap will treat their supporters with Saturday rewind of the hit series.

Viewers can relieve the "kilig" moment between Yaya Maya and Mr. Lim, Jodi and Richard's characters, respectively, starting September 15, Saturday.

"This is the first time that a TV program airs a replay every Saturday. We offer this to everyone who cannot watch Be Careful With My Heart. We hope that we can share them the joy and the good vibes that the morning audience enjoys," said Jodi.

Cebauno actor Richard said he still couldn't believe the success of the series. He's thankful to all the viewers who religiously watch the show.

"Hindi namin ito ini-expect. This is the first time that we are all working together so nung una kinakapa pa namin. This is an experimental type of show and we are just happy that it all came together," he said.

Richard became famous in the hit primetime series "My Binondo Girl" where he played the role of Papa Chien, the wealthy father of led star Kim Chiu. Before that, he did a commercial for a fast food chain and regularly works in the advertising industry.

Although he's now a household name, the Cebuano star is keen to continue his business while doing his television job.

Richard is happily married and has two kids.

Meanwhile, the daytime soap will also release an album with nine tracks.

Produced by Star Records, the album include the carrier single "Be Careful With My Heart" and "When You Say Nothing At All" performed by Jodi and Richard, "Kaba," "Torete," "The Way You Look Tonight," "Sorry Na, Pwede Ba?" and "I'll Be There."

"We both love music and singing but we never dreamt of being recording artists," Richard said.

"This is special to us because aside from the fact that it's our first album, we really worked hard for this because we want the people who'll buy the album to be happy with the songs and how we sang them, and not just because we're part of it," he added.

"Be Careful With My Heart Rewind" will air every Saturday before "It's Showtime" on ABS-CBN Network. (Sunnex)
