"X-FACTOR" contestants Allen Sta. Maria and KZ Tandingan are saddened by the criticisms thrown at their mentor, Filipino international singer Charice.
Charice's new look on the reality-singing search has earned her negative responses from TV viewers and netizens on social networking sites.
The two contestants admitted that the negative publicity against the international singer disappoint them.
"Masakit din na naririnig namin na may sinasabi sa kanya ng masama. Mentor namin siya (We are hurt by the criticisms against her. She's our mentor)," KZ said.
Charice always tells us to pursue the things that makes us happy and helps us grow)," Allen said.
KZ said she's very happy for Charice because the latter is contented with what she has.
The two contestants credited Charice for constantly guiding and helping them in their weekly performances.
Allen and KZ are competing to be the first "X-Factor" grand winner. They are included in the top six with Jeric Medina, Kedebon Colim, Gabriel Maturan and "Daddy's Home" Allan Silonga, Herbert Silonga, Eric Dacanay and Jerome Icatar.
The "X-Factor" finale week is set for October 6 and 7 on the Kapamilya Network. (Sunnex)
