John: Friendship with Bianca 'possible'

TELEVISION host John Prats agrees that there's a big chance for him and his ex-girlfriend Bianca Manalo to be friends again after their recent break-up.

John was reacting to Bianca's statement expressing hope that they can remain as friends owing to the "good memories" they shared together.

The "Angelito: Batang Ama" actor shared that before, he never thought he would rekindle his friendship with his former flames. But after he managed to stay friends with ex-girlfriends Shaina Magdayao and Heart Evangelista, John believes there's a big chance for him and Bianca to be friends again.

"Lahat ng relasyon sa mundo pag naghihiwalay eh hindi naman kayo nagiging magkaibigan agad agad eh. Pero after naging magkaibigan kami ni Shaina, ni Heart, mas naging open ako. Totoo naman pala din na pwedeng maging magkaibigan din kayo. Siguro in time," he said.

John said he also heard of the "dedmahan" issue between Bianca and his rumored new flame, Sunshine Garcia.

He said he doesn't believe in all these issues. The tv host said things are okay between him and Bianca when they ended the romance and he knows where he stands in Sunshine's life.

"May mga nagsabi sa akin pero ako kasi ayokong maniwala hanggat hindi ko na-experience. Marami sa industriya natin yung dagdag, marami ding bawas. So hindi talaga ako maniniwala sa ganun."

"It's not my business. Basta ako alam ko kung saan ako nakatayo. Ano ako kay Sunshine bilang kaibigan," he said.

Meanwhile, Sunshine said people misinterpreted what took place during the Star Magic Ball between her and Bianca.

She reiterated there's no truth to the "dedmahan" issue because she and Bianca acknowledge each other when they met at the wash room of the venue.

Sunshine added that it can't be true that she and John is an item as she is now in a relationship with a non-showbiz guy.

When asked about her boyfriend's reaction to the issue, the dancer said the guy understands her line of work.

"Minsan hindi naman sila sanay sa ganyan pero nakikita naman niya na hindi totoo at issue lang talaga. Hindi rin naman kasi ako laging lumalabas," she said.

John and Sunshine work together in weekend evening program "Banana Split". (Sunnex)
