Melissa ready for more daring roles

AFTER gracing the cover of a popular men's magazine, actress Melissa Ricks said she now ready for more daring roles both on the big screen and on television.

She clarified, however, that her decision will depend on the role, plot, and concept of the project. The most daring she did, so far, was her role on hit series "Nasaan Ka Elisa?"

"I'm open to feistier, more daring roles. Depende din naman sa kwento yan at alam ko na hindi ako pababayaan ng ABS-CBN. Kasi talaga namang inaalagaan nila lahat ng mga naging roles ko," she said.

Since she started in showbiz through reality talent search "Star Circle Quest, Mellisa has been part of various television projects, among them are "Iisa Pa Lamang" and "Kambal sa Uma."

Playing the role of Johanna Montenegro, Melissa is still part of the hit primetime series "Walang Hanggan," which is slated to run until the last quarter of 2012.

On her sexy magazine cover, Mellisa said she's thankful to the warm response of the readers in her FHM September 2012 cover.

"I'm very, very happy right now. Masaya ako sa naging outcome at sa mga naging reaction ng mga tao, they really like the cover," she said. (Sunnex)
