Bea: Zanjoe is proud of me

BEA Alonzo said she is happy that her real life sweetheart, Zanjoe Marudo, appreciates her latest movie "The Mistress."

"Proud siya sa akin and gustong gusto daw niya yung ending. Sabi nga niya na ito daw yung best ko (He is very proud of me and he likes the movie's ending. He said this is my best performance in a movie)," Bea said during the thanksgiving party of the hit Star Cinema film.

Even though Zanjoe wasn't able to accompany her to Nice, France, last week for the international screening of the movie, Bea said she's happy that the actor got to see the film and recognized her hard work in the project.

Bea is also keen to return to Nice with Zanjoe in the near future.

Bea and her "The Mistress" co-star John Lloyd Cruz and other ABS-CBN talents like Maja Salvador and Angelica Panganiban flew to Europe for a series of international shows. The movie was warmly received by the Filipino moviegoers in France.

The actress is open to doing a sequel or another movie with John Lloyd.

"The Mistress," which is Star Cinema's celebration of Bea and John Lloyd's 10th year as a love team has already passed the P140 million mark last week.

"The Mistress" is still showing in theaters nationwide. (Sunnex)
