Daniel happy for ex-flame; Heart getting to know Chiz

MODEL turned actor Daniel Matsunaga said he's in good terms with his ex-girlfriend Heart Evangelista who currently dating Senator Francis "Chiz" Escudero.

The two recently bumped into each other at the "Dolphy Alay Tawa" musical event at the SM Mall of Asia Arena. Daniel came as part of TV5 roster of stars while Heart attended the event as presenter from the GMA 7.

According to the Japanese-Brazilian Matsunaga, there are no ill feelings between him and Heart and they even exchanged "hi" and "hello" during the event.

Daniel said he and Heart are still friends and they still communicate to each other.

When asked if he heard of the rumors linking Heart to Senator Francis "Chiz" Escudero, Daniel said he's well-versed on the issue and he will support his ex-girlfriend in whatever she decides to do.

"Move on na ako. Masaya ako para sa kanya and anything that she decides on her life. I'm very supportive and I'm always here. Masaya (ako) for Chiz and I have no bad feelings at all," he said.

Daniel is currently busy with his showbiz career. He is part of "Enchanted Garden" with Ruffa Mae Quinto, Ruffa Gutierrez, Zoren Legazpi, Alex Gonzaga and Alice Dixson. He's also a regular in horror weekend series "Third Eye".

In a separate tv interview, Heart clarified that she's not yet in a relationship with the senator and does not know how to label their closeness to each other.

"Hindi pa kami dumadating doon, mahabang getting-to-know-you ito dahil (I'm) really taking my time. I'm not in a rush. It's always nice to get to know a person," she said.

The actress also confirmed she had dinners with the Senator and she's very happy. "Whatever it is we're not officially together. I'm happy, period." (Sunnex)
