YOUNG superstar Judy Ann Santos will be coming back to reality programming as she is set to host the new season of "Master Chef Pinoy Edition."
Unlike its debut season in the country, the second installment of the hit program will now feature experienced home cooks who are in the running for the coveted Master Chef title.
Juday will still be joined by Chef Fern Aracama, Chef Rolando Laudico and JP Anglo.
"Excited ako kasi na-miss ko yung staff ko, yung tatlo kong Chef. (The difference with this new season) Unang-una na mas malalaki na yung contestants, mas matitindi na yung mga challenges na haharapin nila," the actress said in a Cinema News interview.
As of this posting, no words yet from ABS-CBN on when the new season will grace the local television.
Meanwhile, another actress is back in primetime shows of ABS-CBN.
After the success of "Budoy," "Showbiz Inside Report" host Janice de Belen will join the cast of the newest series "Ina, Kapatid, Anak."
She will star opposite Xian Lim, Enchong Dee, Maja Salvador, Kim Chiu, Cherry Pie Picache, Ariel Rivera, Pilar Pilapil, Eddie Gutierrez and Ronaldo Valdez.
According to Janice, even though she started very young in the industry, she still gets nervous when doing a new project.
"Kahit na matagal ko ng ginagawa ito, ninenerbiyos parin ako. Everytime that I start something new. Andun pa rin talaga yun," she said.
Under the direction of Don Cuaresma and Jojo Saguin, "Ina, Kapatid, Anak" starts Monday on the Kapamilya Network. (Glaiza Jarloc/Sunnex)
