ACTRESS Jessy Mendiola and suitor JM de Guzman decided to remain friends for now.
"Sinabihan ko siya na ayoko muna and sabi ko as much as possible, slow lang. Kasi ang dami-dami naming ginagawang trabaho ngayon and issue," said Jessy.
JM has since been vocal about his feelings to the "Paraiso" actress. He said Jessy is his ideal girlfriend, and confirmed that he is courting the actress.
"One thing na pinaka-importante, saved yung friendship. Wala naman ako pinagsisihan, pero marami akong natutunan," JM said of his recent misunderstanding with Jessy.
He added: "Na bago ka gumawa ng action, pag-isipan mo talaga ng mabuti. Bago ka magsalita, mag-isip ka muna kasi yun na yun, pag lumabas (di na mababawi).”
The "Angelito: Batang Ama" lead actor also reacted to a news report stating that Jessy was very cozy with her "Paraiso" co-star and leading man Matteo Guidicelli.
Rumor has it that Matteo and Jessy went on a date, but the actress dismissed this.
She said it was a dinner celebration with the whole production staff of the upcoming afternoon series.
"Pag siya (Matteo Guidicelli) yung kasama ni Jessy, kampante ako. Mabait siyang tao at alam kong aalagaan niya naman kahit hindi sa taping,” JM said. (Glaiza Jarloc/Sunnex)
