ANNE Curtis said she is sad that she couldn't mention the name of Derek Ramsay in the promotion of their upcoming movie "A Secret Affair" in her noontime program on ABS-CBN.
The actress said she understands the network's decision and vowed to abide by its orders.
Derek, who started his career as an actor in ABS-CBN, moved to TV5 channel early this year.
The actor earlier said that he maintains a good relationship with ABS-CBN despite his transfer.
Derek said he will forever be thankful to channel for allowing him to grow as an actor. He remained friends with stars from the network.
New challenge for Andi
Meanwhile, Anne and Derek's co-star Andi Eigenmann said she is proud to be part of the new movie project, which serves as vehicle for her big screen comeback after giving birth to daughter, Ellie.
The young actress said it is a big challenge for her to portray a daring role.
She said it was difficult at first but with the help of her co-stars and director, she was able to deliver what was expected of her.
Andi also said that rumors saying that her role was originally intended for "X-Factor Philippines" host KC Concepcion do not affect her.
She said she believes that the project was really meant for her and bigger shows are being prepared for KC.
"Maybe I was meant to do it. With KC naman, she's just meant to do something else, something's that's going to be better for her personally. There are reasons for her benefit also," Andi said.
"A Secret Affair" will open in cinemas nationwide starting October 24. (Sunnex)
