ACTRESS Marian Rivera said she's having fun hosting the new reality program "Extra Challenge" opposite Richard Gutierrez because she gets to bond with other local artists.

"Malaki yung nagawa ng extra challenge sa buhay ko bilang artista kasi nagkakaroon ako ng bonding sa mga hindi ko nakaka-bond na artista. Ang sarap kasi parang bonus ito sa akin at dun sa mga hindi ko pa nakakasama," she said during the grand press launch of the program.

The new season of "Extra Challenge" will tap three challengers who are confronted with three adrenaline-pumping and weird obstacles that will definitely test their limits.

The show will also serve as Marian and Richard's reunion project after doing "My Best Friend's Girlfriend" with GMA Films.

In the first episode, Richard and Marian will test Kylie Padilla, Rafael Rosell and Dennis Trillo in pulse-racing and heart-stopping challenges.

According to Marian, it's her first time to work with Kylie on and off screen. The latter was initially slated to work with actor Dingdong Dantes in a primetime series, but the project was shelved.

Marian shared that during their taping days, she had the opportunity to get to know more the young actress and they talked about their respective relationships.

"Sobrang nagkaroon kami ng bonding ni Kylie sa Extra Challenge. Nagkaroon kami ng konting chikahan tungkol sa kanya-kanyang love life namin," Marian said. "Nakakatuwa lang na nag-open up siya at ako din nag-advice."

The actress was also surprised that for a 19-year-old, Kylie seems to be very mature and on her toes all the time.

Marian said she's also happy challenging Dennis and Rafael, whom she had the opportunity to work with several times.

"Extra Challenge" premiers on October 27, Saturday. (Sunnex)
