Richard happy to work again with Marian

ACTOR Richard Gutierrez is thrilled to share the boob tube again with then leading lady Marian Rivera.

After Marian's guesting in Richard's "Pinoy Adventures" episode a couple of months back, the two will reunite in the newest season of "Extra Challenge," which will be aired on GMA-7.

According to Richard, when the network executives saw the episode he did with Marian in "Pinoy Adventures," they decided to pair the duo for the new project.

"Nagustuhan ng mga producers and very good yung feedback dun sa ginawa na Pinoy Adventure (episode). Pinaghandaan talaga ito ng matagal. Gusto nila ng bagong host, fresh team-up kaya kami yung napili," he said.

"Nakita din nila yung chemistry namin na andyan parin. I'm very thankful," he added.

Richard and Marian will test the physical, psychological, and mental state of guest celebrities in every challenge.

The actor believes that it is the right time for him to host "Extra Challenge" after doing numerous reality shows on the network.

"After Survivor and Pinoy Adventures, kahit anong ibato sa akin na reality medyo handa na ako. Right timing din kasi nakapag host na ako ng Survivor, nakapag host na ako ng Pinoy Adventures, ngayon ito naman," he said.

Richard added that her mother, Annabelle Rama is excited and happy for the new show because he's the one hosting it and not doing the tasks himself.

"Masaya siya and excited siya for us kasi makakasama ko ulit si Marian. She feels safer nga kasi hindi na ako yung sasabak dito unlike sa Pinoy Adventure. Mas kampante siya dahil host ako ditto," he added.

The actor is also keen to do the challenges in provinces around the country. He said Palawan is one good prospect. (Sunnex)
