Jessy on JM: We're still friends

JESSY Mendiola said all is well between her and JM de Guzman after the latter's courtship with the young actress started on the wrong foot.

Recent interviews of "Angelito: Batang Ama" actor revealing his true feelings toward the actress surprised the "Paraiso" star, saying she never expected JM to be very vocal with his emotions.

The situation has created a gap between the two actors.

But during a press conference of Jessy's new project with ABS-CBN, the actress said she and JM remain as friends.

"Okay naman kami ngayon. We're friends. Parang normal ulit. For a time medyo hindi kami naging okay kasi kung ano ano na 'yung nasasabi sa tv. Ako din naman ay nabibigla din at sana may heads up," she said.

"Before hindi kasi nagulat ako na bigla siyang nagsalita. Ngayon it's well played out naman at hindi naman masyadong offending yung nasasabi namin sa isa't isa," she added.

Jessy said she changed her mobile number but JM got hold of it again.

"Pinalitan ko yung number ko and nakuha niya. Okay na kami, normal na ulit, parang nag-start ulit kami like before," she said.

She said appreciates JM's sincerity and honesty. "For him to do that, it's flattering and nice at the same time," she said.

"Sobrang sweet niya and passionate. Alam ko na lahat ng nakakakilala sa kanya ay 'yung ang sasabihin. Pinapahalagahan niya bawat tao sa buhay niya. At para sabihin niya na isa ako dun sa mga yun, masaya ako na pinapahalagahan niya din ako," she ended. (Sunnex)
