Coco on his leading man status

"WALANG Hanggan" mainstay Coco Martin downplayed reports that he will succeed Piolo Pascual as the top actor of Kapamilya network.
"Thank you (kung tingin nila ganun). Ako naman kasi trabaho talaga. Ayokong isipin yung ganung mga bagay," he said in a CinemaNews interview.
Coco added: "Iba din kasi yung hinulma sa akin ng indie, per project ako naka focus. Hindi yung status bilang artista, walang ganun sa akin."
After the success of his primetime series opposite Julia Montes, the actor revealed there might be a reunion project but this time on the big screen.
"Sabi nga namin, ano pa ba ang hindi namin naipapakita sa 'Walang Hanggan'. Unang una, si Julia mag-18 na. Mas mature na (yung gagawin namin)," he said.
Aside from the movie, Coco is also looking forward to work with Kapuso actress Marian Rivera and young superstar Judy Ann Santos. (Glaiza Jarloc/Sunnex)
