JM unaffected by negative rumors

KAPAMILYA actor JM de Guzman says “thank you” to detractors.
JM only had this message following reports of his alleged unprofessionalism in the recently concluded sequel of afternoon series "Angelito: Ang Batang Ama" and supposed romance with fellow Kapamilya Jessy Mendiola.
JM said he is no longer affected by intrigues and will just continue to give his best. The actor also reiterated that he is open to constructive criticisms, especially when it comes to his work.
"Lahat naman may karapatan (na magbigay ng) opinyon. Basta ako binibigay ko lang yung best ko. Yung criticisms naman kung wala yun, wala din ako paghuhugutan. Dun ka din natututo at nakakapulot ng ideas," he related.
JM's focus this year, he said, is to spend more time with family.
"Bago yung sarili ko, yung pamilya ko muna. Ngayon, everything that I do, para sa kapatid ko and sa parents ko," he said.
He also wanted to improve his showbiz career this year.
"Kapagod (2012). Pero thankful pa rin ako na ang daming pumasok na blessings. (This 2013) I'm fine and ready for acting. My heart? It's very big and healthy and full of love. My life? Very balance. Saka na (ang love life), trabaho na muna," he said. (Glaiza Jarloc/Sunnex)
