Kim confirms Maja dating ex-flame Gerald

PRIMETIME Princess Kim Chiu gave her two cents on reports that close friend Maja Salvador is now dating her ex-boyfriend, actor Gerald Anderson.
Both actresses attended the Book 2 launch of their primetime series "Ina, Kapatid, Anak" on Tuesday evening.
During the press conference, however, Maja was seated away from Kim. The two didn’t even talk to each other.
After the launch, Kim told reporters she was surprised that Maja and Gerald are already dating.
"For me, I'm happy for them. Wala naman pong masama, pareho naman silang single and maging masaya na lang tayo sa kanilang dalawa. Nakakalungkot lang kasi yung friendship nasayang (Maja),” she said.
"Nagulat ako and nabigla. Hindi ko inexpect na mangyayari itong ganito. Parang bakit? Hindi naman ako bitter sa kung anong nangyayari sa kanila and I'm happy for them. Nalungkot lang ako kasi yung tao na sinabihan ko nung time na down ako, parang kinain niya lang yung sinabi niya."
Kim added that she doesn't understand why people always ask her opinion on Gerald-related issues because it's been three years since they broke up.
"Nakakapagod na din na tanong nang tanong sa akin about kay Gerald, ang dami na niyang pinagdaanan na babae. Hindi lang naman po ako. Bakit hindi na lang hingin yung opinyon ng ibang babae since marami po sila,” she related.
"It's been three years na and the press and the people keep on asking me if I'm okay and if I'm doing fine. Of course I'm doing fine, ang tagal ko ng naka-let go and ayoko ng magpakatanga.”
The actress said that Maja asked her permission to date Gerald.
"She asked permission to (date Gerald) and I said bakit pa kailangan magpaalam, wala na kami ni Gerald. Wala na talaga. Medyo (nalilito lang ako) ang daming nagtatanong sa akin about Gerald,” she said.
Kim, meanwhile, assured that nothing will change in her working relationship with Maja in the primetime series.
"We are okay. I don't care about them. Bahala na siya. She knows Gerald... who Gerald is,” she said. “We can work professionally, nagawa naman namin at maganda naman yung mga eksena namin."
As for Gerald, her leading man in Star Magic's anniversary movie "24/7 In Love," Kim said: "Hindi kami naging close, we just did it for work." (Sunnex)
