Sam Milby attracted to Shaina Magdayao

Actor Sam Milby find Shaina Magdayao very charming and would like to get to know more the Kapamilya star.

During the press launch of his newest series "Kahit Konting Pagtingin" with Angeline Quinto and Paolo Avelino, many were surprised when Sam revealed that he already went out with Shaina. But he clarified it wasn't a date and they were with Shaina's close friends.

"Hindi totoo na kami na. We hang out with her friends pero yung dating kami, no. No serious anything, nag hang out lang. Kung item kami or kami na, walang ganoon."

"Gusto ko lang siyang makilala because we don't know each other that well. If I feel any chemistry or connection, manliligaw na ako."

When asked what attracted him most to Shaina, Sam replied: "She's such a nice person; she's beautiful and has good heart."

The singer-turned-actor also revealed that before hanging out with Shaina, he asked for permission from close friend John Prats, the former boyfriend of the actress.

Sam said he doesn't want to hide anything from John and he's been very honest on his real intentions with the actress.

"Very honest akong tao and siya ang best friend ko. Last year nung may paghanga na ako kay Shaina, sinabi ko na sa kanya. Pero at that time wala akong balak i-pursue and then after awhile I find her charming."

According to him, if John doesn't feel comfortable with the thought of him and Shaina going out together, he will pull the plug because his friendship with the former is also very important to him.

"And sinabi ko sa kanya na kung sakali na liligawan ko si Shaina, gusto kong okay sa iyo (John) kasi kung hindi okay, hindi ko itutuloy kasi mag best friend kami. Okay naman sa kanya."

Sam said things are okay between him and John and their friendship remain the same.

"Kahit okay na sa kanya (John), wala pa naman kaming anything (ni Shaina). Basta alam ko na okay sa kanya. Open ako sa kanya."

Meanwhile, the actor was also asked on other names linked to Shaina, specifically Ultimate Leading Man Piolo Pascual.

Sam said he doesn't have any reason to get jealous over Shaina's suitors because they are just good friends and he's not surprise at all if there's a lot of men who wants to date the actress.
