Gerald interested in courting Maja

ACTOR Gerald Anderson said he will pursue co-Kapamilya star Maja Salvador if the actress would allow him to do so.
It's been a controversial week for Gerald and Maja after the two are reportedly dating and the former's ex-girlfriend, Kim Chiu, made comments on the new pair up.
In a "Buzz" interview on Sunday, the actor gave his side of the story and clarified rumors about his current involvement with Maja.
Gerald supported Maja's earlier statement, saying they went to Misibis Bay in Cagraray Island, Albay in separate group. He was with his family and friends while Maja was with her cousins to attend a bridal event.
"Nag-uusap kami ni Maja, tinatanong ko siya kung ano yung mga tourist spots na pwedeng puntahan. Sinabi niya yung Misibis Bay. Ako naman, parang exciting yan, mukhang masaya."
"And then binanggit niya na pupunta siya kasama yung mga pinsan niya, marami sila, kapatid niya, pamilya nga, dahil, ayun nga, bridal shower."
The actor reiterated they went there as friends. They got to know each other and Gerald find Maja as easy to be with and very charming.
"That's the first time na nagsama kami ni Maja na parang ganun. During the activities, nakita ko po sa kanya na parang masaya siyang kasama. Charming, mabait. Nae-enjoy akong kasama siya."
Gerald said there's nothing wrong if he will ask Maja for a date because they are both single. He added that it’s almost three years now since his break-up with Kim.
He believes the issues between him, Maja and Kim were blown out of proportion.
When host Boy Abunda asked the actor if he's dating Maja, he replied: "I’d love to, kung bibigyan niya ako ng chance."
He understands that the situation is sensitive, but said they must face everything as mature adults.
"I believe magiging maayos din ito. Magiging maayos siya depende sa maturity ng bawat isa na kasama sa sitwasyon. We have to face this like adults. Kumbaga, hindi na kami mga bata. We face decisions every day. And we have to face the consequences like adults." (Glaiza Jarloc/Sunnex)
