Daniel Matsunaga denies dating Kris Aquino

JAPANESE-Brazilian model Daniel Matsunaga dismissed rumors linking him to Queen of All Media Kris Aquino.

The two worked together in the blockbuster 2012 Metro Manila Film Festival entry "Sisterakas" and Daniel also visited Kris's show, Kris TV, some time ago to promote the project.

In an interview with the model at the recently concluded TV5 Trade Launch, he said he and the presidential sister don't go out and only has work relationship.

"Hindi totoo (na we're dating) kasi she's so nice to me, sobrang mabait. Friendship lang talaga what we have. I got to meet even her sons through our work, through Kris TV," Daniel said.

He added that they don't text or call each other after work.

"I'm really professional. I have fun with them a lot and I just enjoy my work," he said.

According to the model, his movie with Kris and his tv guestings in latter's show have helped his presence felt in the industry. Daniel said he's thankful to Kris and friend Vice Ganda.

"Ang laki ng opportunity na binigay sa akin ni Kris. I'm really honored to work with her and to be around them, including kay Vice Ganda. I'm really happy to be part of it," he said.

Daniel, a former boyfriend of Heart Evangelista, said he is very much single and looking for that special girl. He is looking for someone who is in her 20s and ready to have a future with him, he said.

"I'm ready for my next girlfriend. In God's time there will be a next one to come. I'm just waiting for that moment," he added.

"I haven't found it yet. I'm looking for that special girl. I really want to have a plan, a future (with her). I'd love to balance my work and my love life," he said. (Sunnex)
