Carmina wishes peace between BB, Robin

CARMINA Villarroel believed that things will get better between brothers Robin Padilla and BB Gandanghari (born Rustom Padilla).

BB recently confirmed that he haven't seen or talked to Robin in a long while and they don't attend family reunions together. The conflict started when BB disclosed his true sexual preference in public.

Robin said he respects BB's gender preference but disapproves of the latter's lifestyle and cross-dressing.

Asked for her comment, Carmina, a former wife of BB, said she wishes BB and his family "all the happiness in the world."

"Ako, I'm very happy with my life. Sana siya din, ganun din yung pamilya niya. Pag big family mas maganda yung nagkakasundo kayong magkakapatid. Sana maayos na. Eventually, maybe in time magkaka-ayos din yan," she said.

On reports that BB is keen to undergo sexual reassignment surgery and is currently on the first phase of the procedure, which involves working on the psychological mindset of the patient, Carmina replied: "Lagi ko naman sinasabi na kung saan siya liligaya, doon ako. Kasi ako I'm just so happy with my life and wala na akong mahihiling pa. So sana ganoon din siya."

"Just be true to yourself. And important is you really have to be happy kasi kung happy ka, 'pag meron kang contentment ka sa puso mo, meron kang peace, lalabas yan," she added.

Meanwhile, Carmina said she is still in "cloud nine" following her surprise engagement and wedding to long-time partner and father of her two kids, actor Zoren Legazpi in December.

The tv host/actress said there were some changes in her life now, but everything is for the better. She cherishes her role as a missus and a working mom.

"Yung respect mas andoon. Yung love mas humigit na akala namin hindi na mahihigitan pa. Tapos very conscious ka na sa mga gagawin mo, sa mga decisions mo, sa mga actions mo," she said.

She added: "Pag nagsusulat ako ng signature, dapat pala may Legazpi na. Nape-pressure akong mag-iba ng signature kasi hindi ko naman napa-practice kasi Carmina Villarroel ako all my life."

When asked if there's any plan to give her twins Mavie and Cassie a baby sister or brother, Carmina said things will come in God's perfect time.

"Sa amin naman kung darating, darating. We are not really trying but hindi rin naman namin tinatanggal sa aming isipan na magkakaroon kami (ng baby). Kung mabiyayaan, thank you very much," she ended. (Sunnex)
