POP Princess Sarah Geronimo apologized to her fans after she got carried away by her emotions in last Sunday's performance in "Sarah G. Live."
During the weekend, Sarah sang Britney Spears' "Womanizer" and Rihanna's "Take a Bow," which many interpreted as dedicated to her botched romance with actor Gerald Anderson, who is now linked with the Pop Princess's show biz friend Maja Salvador.
In a "TV Patrol" interview Thursday evening, the singer confirmed she personally picked all the songs she performed in the show and apologized for misbehaving on her own show.
Aside from the two songs, Sarah also rendered her own version of "On My Own."
Sarah, meanwhile, refused to comment on the purported romance between Gerald and Maja, but wishes her showbiz friend to find true happiness.
"Si Maja naging malapit din sa akin. Basta I wish her true love. Totoong pagmamahal kasi every girl deserves true love... yung paninindigan talaga," she said in a separate TV interview aired late Thursday night.
In a separate development, Sarah confirmed that she renewed her exclusive contract with the ABS-CBN channel 2.
She said that aside from her weekend show "Sarah G. Live," she will also be doing either a new drama or comedy series. The Pop Princess is also keen to do musical-variety projects.
(Sunnex)
