Jasmine Curtis-Smith to juggle studies, work this 2013

YOUNG actress Jasmine Curtis-Smith said she's planning to stay longer in Manila this year to focus on her showbiz career and college studies.
In an interview during the Trade Launch of TV5, the 18-year-old shared that she will take up BS Management.
Jasmine will also be doing projects for her mother network. TV5 is said to be preparing a new program for her titled "Jasmine."
"I'm yet to be briefed about it but they said that by March we are going to start working on it. So we'll see what it will actually turns out to be. I'm very thankful because TV5 is willing to put a show under my name and trust me with that. I'm very happy," she said.
Jasmine said she's grateful to the Kapatid Network because the station allowed her to finish secondary school in Australia eventhough she has a contract to fulfill.
"In the three years they haven't let go of me considering na ang tagal kong nawala. Even if I have been so absent with my contract, they've been given me a chance to go back and do my own show," she said.
The young actress graduated in high school last November.
Meanwhile, Jasmine said her older sister Anne Curtis told her to just enjoy her craft.
"Ang main advice niya sa akin is as long as you're doing what you love (you're okay). She said it is going to be hard because I chose to do both, career and studies. As long as kayanin ko. Just put everything into it," she said.
This year, Jasmine said her main goal is to make it big in the industry.
"I know it is not going to happen in one year, but I'm on my way and I'm very thankful with that," she said.
Jasmine will go to Australia in February but will immediately return in March to honor her showbiz commitments. (Sunnex)
