Sam Milby back on television in 'Kahit Konting Pagtingin'-A A +A

ACTOR Sam Milby is back on boob tube as he promises a bigger and brighter 2013 for his career.
The "Pinoy Big Brother" alumnus will star opposite Angeline Quinto and Paulo Avelino in soon-to-be-aired romantic-comedy series "Kahit Konting Pagtingin." This is Sam's comeback project after almost two years of not gracing the small screen.
Sam said he misses taping television shows.
"This whole year, blessing talaga yung nangyari for me. Mas exciting yung mga mangyayari. Na-miss ko talaga. Naninibago ako. I feel rusty. Ngayon nasasanay ulit and nage-enjoy talaga,” he said.
The actor admitted that he’s still nervous with the possible reaction of viewers on his new project.
"I think sa lahat naman ng project merong konting kaba kasi hindi mo alam kung magiging successful ba. Pero I'm happy na sila yung kasama ko and this kind of project ang nabigay sa akin,” he said.
Last year, Sam went to the States and tried his luck in Hollywood. He signed with an international casting agency and did some auditions for big US programs.
Sam was even shortlisted for a particular Asian role but it didn't push through.
When asked about what he had learned during his three-month stay overseas, the actor replied: "Yung mga nangyari sa States, iba rin talaga. I came from PBB na walang experience sa mga auditions. Binigyan agad ng movies, ng teleserye."
He added: "Doon natuto ako kung ano yung dapat gawin. Nagkaroon ako ng confidence, more positive and mas may bilib sa sarili. I gain more desire to learn. I just felt more excitement as a person and in my craft."
However, Sam said he won't be going to the US soon because of his showbiz commitments here.
"I do have plans to go back (to the US). Pero wala pa talagang time. I'm so blessed this year and maraming projects kaya dito na muna ako sa Pilipinas,” he said.
While doing "Kahit Konting Pagtingin," Sam will also be taping for his next project "Against All Odds" opposite Jericho Rosales and Judy Ann Santos.
"I think this will be my best year. I feel, in terms of career and as a person, mas nag mature na ako. Mas naglo-look forward ako sa mga mangyayari," he ended. (Sunnex)
