Zsa Zsa Padilla opens up about finding love again

DIVINE Diva Zsa Zsa Padilla is not closing her doors on love but clarified she is not looking for it right now.

Six months after the passing of her partner, Comedy King Dolphy, the singer/actress said she is still in the moving forward phase of her life.

She said that coping with Dolphy's loss is difficult and a long process.

"I'm better but I still continue my rituals. I still talk to him every day and it works for me. It's still very painful still. It is a really long process," she said.

Zsa Zsa said she tries to get busy with work or spend more time with daughters Nicole and Zia to at least not think too much of Dolphy.

The singer shared she becomes emotional even in simple things that reminds her of the late comedian. She prefers not to listen to love songs and could not stage a concert just yet.

"Minsan kahit hindi ko iniisip or hindi ko sinasadya, bigla kang tatamaan," she said.

When asked if she's open to the idea of finding new love, Zsa Zsa admitted that the thought sometimes crosses her mind.

The singer said that recently, she came across a video on YouTube about a couple who separated and the girl is trying to move forward from her love.

"Ang na pick-up ko talaga and na retain sa akin na don't be afraid to fall in love again kasi masarap magmahal. Pero wala pa ako doon, sa ngayon hindi pa," she said.

"Hindi ko sini-seek out yung love. Hindi ko naman siya hinahanap ngayon because I'm in the company of my children and I'm very much dedicated to them," she added.

Zsa Zsa said that she met Dolphy when he was 57 years old and they were together until his 80s. If given more years, the singer said she has a long way to go.

"Hindi ko pa nadarating yung edad niya nung nag meet kami. Kung papalarin ako na mabubuhay ako in my 80s, mahaba parin talaga ang buhay. Sana maging happy din ako kung ano man ang magiging state ko in the future," she said.

Right now the singer said that she's at peace with herself.

When further asked about her plans on love month, Zsa Zsa said she will spend Valentine's Day with best friend Kris Aquino, who is celebrating her birthday on the 14th.

"Alam niya na pag medyo may okasyon, she whisks me away. Sasabihin niya na wag na tayong mag-isip and let's create new memories together," she said. (Sunnex)
