Sharon to do more shows in TV5

A TV5 executive has revealed that more shows are lined-up for veteran actress Megastar Sharon Cuneta.

TV5 head of Creative and Entertainment Production Perci Intalan said they are just waiting for Sharon's comeback before discussing their next plans for her.

"We're really waiting for her to comeback para ma-discuss what to do first, how to do the project and to share her own ideas," Intalan said.

The megastar, after the airing of her talk show "Sharon: Kasama Mo, Kapatid," went to the US for a short break. She's now back in Manila and was recently spotted at Paolo Valenciano's (son of Mr. Pure Energy Gary Valenciano) wedding to his long-time girlfriend, Samantha Godinez. The Megastar currently doesn't have any show airing on TV5.

Intalan said they are also open in producing another season of the megastar’s talk show "Sharon, Kasama mo Kapatid" and other similar TV shows.

"We are not closing our doors to do another season of the show. We are looking forward to do what's next," he said.

On reported "tampo" issue between Sharon and TV-host Willie Revillame, after the latter leased the studio where "Sharon, Kasama mo Kapatid" used to tape, Inatalan said it was sorted out immediately.

"I wouldn't say it was a tampo but a miscommunication because at that time, parang naunahan na nakita niya si Willie sa nagpupunta sa Delta Theater," he related.

"After that we cleared the airways, we explained everything and si Willie, in fairness, wala naman siyang kinalaman doon. After napag-usapan yun, naging maayos na din," he said.

Intalan also gave his two cents on rumors that Sharon gave feelers that she wanted to go back to former mother network, ABS-CBN.

According to Intalan, he knows the Megastar is still close with a lot of people from the network and Sharon reached that certain stature in the industry where all the networks are open in working with her.

"To be fair, si Sharon Cuneta na siya. Ayoko maniwala na siya ang nagpaparamdam. Any network would want to work with Sharon. I think it’s unfair na hayaan namin yung chismis na kumalat na siya yung nagpaparamdam," he said.

"She's been very vocal. Very personable siyang tao and I know there are still people she's very close with and she's still in touch with them pero hindi ko alam saan nanggagaling yung chismis na she's asking them to be back," he ended. (Sunnex)
