Luis Manzano prepares special Valentine's gift for Jennylyn Mercado

TELEVISION host Luis Mercado said he prepared a special "thoughtful" Valentine's gift for his girlfriend of one year, Jennylyn Mercado.

Luis said he ordered the gift in the United States and described it as "very simple, nothing fancy but sweet."

"Simple lang siya (Jenn). Since very modest naman siya, I got her walong platinum na relo. Yung parang pang timezone," he jokingly said.

Although he declined to reveal the content of his gift, Luis said it is something that will definitely put a smile on Jennylyn's face.

"It's something I know she will love and appreciate," he said.

Meanwhile, Luis said he and Jennylyn will have a simple dinner together on February 14. He said that they will just enjoy each other's company.

Luis said that he only sees the actress two times a week due to their busy schedules.

"At this point, we're very unfortunate if twice a week. Ganun talaga. It's what we do and I can't demand time from her just like she can't demand also from me. You have to really understand na that's how it is."

Asked if working in different television stations affect their relationship, Luis said it works for their advantage.

"I don't see it matters. I don't see any problem naman with the network where you belong. Okay lang sa amin yun. She's perfectly content with where she is and she's happy also for me here in ABS. Okay kami sa ganun," he ended. (Sunnex)
