Nikki Gil gets designer shoes from Billy on Valentine's Day

"IT'S Showtime" host Billy Crawford surprised his long-time girlfriend, Nikki Gil, with a pair of shoes made by luxury French brand Christian Louboutin.

The couple will celebrate their fifth Valentine's Day together on February 14 with a simple dinner. Billy said it is hard to keep the day of hearts interesting for the two of them.

After dinner, the couple plan to spend time with their families.

During the recent press conference of the newest season of "Pilipinas Got Talent" (PGT), Billy said he bought his gift to Nikki during his recent trip in Dubai.

At first, Billy was hesitant to reveal his gift for the singer-actress.

"I bought her a camel," he jokingly said. But when Queen of All Media Kris Aquino butted in and asked if it's a shoe, Billy just couldn't deny it anymore.

"Shoes? Ay I like!" Kris said. "Bongga ito (Billy) mag regalo ng shoes. Yung isang shoes niyang binili, alam ko kung gaano kamahal yun. Pang downpayment na ng sasakyan."

In same event, members of the entertainment press also noticed Billy's leaner and fit body. From 215 pounds in PGT seasons 1 and 2, Billy is now in a much healthier shape because of his triathlon trainings.

"I had to do it talaga for health reasons and hindi lang sa trabaho. And you try to look good in front of the camera," Billy said.

"I love to train. I love racing, I love joining triathlons, biking and swimming. I love training for it. It's also good just to be healthy and to be in good shape," he said.

With his fit body, Billy, who is turning 31 years old this May, said he feels good not just on the outside, but also on the inside. (Sunnex)
