QUEEN of All Media Kris Aquino was offered to do an independent film where she will be required to shave her hair and share intimate scenes with a woman.
In a recent interview with Kris, she revealed she received an offer from "Bwakaw" director Jun Lana to top bill a movie and she's really interested in doing it.
Her main concern now, however, is if her commercial endorsements will allow her to do the film.
"Kahit na anong role yun, I need their approval. I want to challenge myself as an actress but first and foremost, I have a responsibility because may mga napirmahan na ako na kontrata," she said.
"It (indie film) calls for a kiss with a girl. A physical act," she said.
According to Kris, she wants to do it because the project has a guaranteed international screening.
Kris said she's flattered that she was chosen to do the movie, which will tackle women empowerment.
"I want to do it kasi may guaranteed international release siya. Nung nabasa ko yung letter nila sa akin at nung nabasa ko yung storyline. Sobrang gusto ko (talaga gawin)," she said.
"Kung tumanggi man ako doon, can I make it clear, it was not my decision but the endorsements. Ginagalang ko lang talaga kasi may kontrata ako sa kanila," she added.
Meanwhile, Kris clarified on recent conflict between leading man Robin Padilla and his wife Mariel Rodriguez.
To recall, Mariel got jealous over Kris and Robin's intimate scenes in primetime series "Kailangan Ko'y Ikaw". Upon hearing such misunderstanding between the couple, the television host immediately called Mariel and iron out things.
Kris said things are okay now and that she understands what Mariel felt.
"It was not worth any conflict. I was also young. I was also immature. At pinagdaanan ko din yan so inunawa ko na lang. A series will end, but hopefully a marriage is forever," she ended. (Sunnex)
