ZANJOE Marudo shared he's in a happy relationship with Bea Alonzo and there's no issue between them on who is the bigger actor.
Sun.Star and other entertainment press caught up with Zanjoe during the launch of "Banana Nite," the daily serving of "Banana Split" which will premier starting February 25.
The actor said his relationship with Bea is very strong and they support each other’s showbiz career.
"Magiging problema pa yun kung magco-compete din kami. Kung sino yung mas magaling, sinong mas sikat, mas maraming projects. Dapat maging masaya kami sa isa't isa at may suportahan," Zanjoe said.
He added: "Minsan nag-uusap kami, humihingi ako ng advice sa kanya. Kami na mismo yung nagtutulungan."
Although they've been together for some time now, Zanjoe dismiss reports of engagement between him and Bea. He said Bea is too young to get married.
"Papagalitan ako ng mommy niya. Walang singsing nung Valentine's. Pag Valentine's naman ay hindi kami nage-expect ng regalo sa isa't isa."
This 2013, Zanjoe will be doing two new projects aside from "Banana Nite" and "Banana Split".
He will star opposite Angel Locsin in a television series and will also top bill a comedy movie under Star Cinema.
When asked about his busy schedule and if he has time to do "Banana Nite" daily, Zanjoe said he will make time for the show.
"Gusto ko yung comedy. Kahit na may project ako na drama or malalaki, parang hinahanap ng katawan ko. Dito ako mas relax, mas kumportable. Lalo na at nakabuo na kami ng barkada. Mahirap gumawa ng show na magsisimula ulit kayo and dito effortless yung chemistry," he ended.
Also part of "Banana Nite" are Angelica Panganiban, Melai Cantiveros, Jason Gainza, Ryan Bang and John Prats. ( Glaiza Jarloc /Sunnex)
