Yeng Constantino keen to find a boyfriend

YENG Constantino revealed that she sometimes fears the thought of growing old alone and shared that she's looking forward to having a boyfriend this year.

The singer described herself as "late bloomer" when it comes to romance because her priority now is her successful show biz career.

"Huwag naman sana na hindi na ako magkakaroon ng boyfriend kasi parang ang lungkot naman nun. Meron akong tita na matandang dalaga pero ayoko naman nun. Gusto ko naman ng may partner... gusto kong magka-baby!" she said during the press launch of her latest album "Metamorphosis".

Yeng said she is not picky when it comes to men and stressed that she is open to dating someone who is much older than her. She also has no personal preference when it comes to the guy's line of work.

"Showbiz or non-showbiz, parehong tao naman yan. Naniniwala din ako na age doesn't matter pero kung papapiliin ako, gusto ko naman yung medyo ka-age ko para maka-relate din naman kami sa isa't isa," she said.

She added that the guy she'll be dating with must understand the demands of her job, must like her family, and must have his own identity.

"I'm looking forward to meeting that person na pwede kong maging partner. Yung mabait, God-fearing, at mahal ako. Hindi naman kailangan gwapo or dapat mayaman siya," she added.

Although she'll be more open in accepting suitors, Yeng said she won't hurry love. The singer believes that "good things come to those who wait."

"Pero being wise, hindi naman madaling magmahal. Pag mahal mo tapos maling tao pala, masakit. Yung hindi mo pa nga nagiging boyfriend iniiyakan mo na, paano pa kaya pag naging kayo? Kaya dahan-dahan lang," she ended. (Sunnex)
