ANGEL Locsin shared she had mixed emotions after beating veteran actors Gina Alajar, Star for All Seasons Vilma Santos and Superstar Nora Aunor in the Best Actress category during the 29th PMPC Star Awards for Movies awards night last Sunday.

Angel, who won the acting award for her Star Cinema movie "One More Try," said she couldn't believe that she bagged the most coveted trophy.

"Hindi pa naman nagsi-sink in. Yung panic, tension, yung kaligayan ko kanina. Lahat ata ng chicharon, lahat ng kinain ko nasa batok ko na," she said in an interview right after the awards night last Sunday.

While on stage, Angel said that her main concern was the possible reaction of the fans of Nora and Vilma who flocked the AFP Theater in Quezon City, the venue for the awarding rites.

The entertainment press noticed that no one walked out of the theater while Angel was giving her acceptance speech. The fans of Nora, Vilma and other nominees recognized Angel's performance in the movie.

Pero thank you sa chance," Angel said.

Asked if she's open to the possibility of doing a project with Vilma and Nora in the future, Angel said she's available anytime for the two seasoned actresses.

In her acceptance speech, Angel forgot to mention the name of her boyfriend, footballer Phil Younghusband.

Angel said she missed a lot of names but Phil knows he is special to her. She revealed that before going to the event, the sportsman went to her house to ask her if she wanted him to escort. But Angel knew that Phil wasn't able to arrange for what he will wear for the event.

Next time na lang," she said.

Meanwhile, Angel was also asked about the rumored rift between her and "One More Try" co star Angelica Panganiban but the actress refused to comment on the gossip, saying they haven't seen each other. (Sunnex)
