ACTRESS Sunshine Cruz said she doesn't regret anything in her family life and believes she's done everything for her marriage to work out.
For a week now, Sunshine and husband Cesar Montano grabbed the headlines over the alleged extramarital affair of the actor with starlet Krista Miller.
It was Sunshine who hinted such news via her posts and comments on photo sharing application Instagram and micro-blogging site Twitter.
Amid the latest controversy, Sunshine said she draws strength from her three daughters.
"They're okay. They're smart children and they understand the situation," Sunshine said during a short interview at the sidelights of the 29th PMPC Star Awards for Movies last Sunday.
Sunshine said she needs to stay positive and strong for her children.
When asked about her reaction on Cesar's effort to fix their marriage, the actress said she just want to move on.
"I just have to move on. I just want to be happy right now and do whatever I want to do na makakabuti para sa akin," she said.
Sunshine said she's done her best and believes this is just another curve ball thrown at her life.
"I don't regret anything that I did in my life. Hindi ko pinagsisisihan yun kasi ginawa ko lahat for the relationship to work. Wala namang ibibigay yung Panginoon kung hindi natin kaya," she said.
The actress said that although she has moved out of their marital house her love for Cesar will remain. Cesar will remain her first love, she said.
"Yung love naman hindi mawawala yan. Pero sa totoo lang talaga, ang importante sa akin ngayon ay mahalin ko muna yung children ko. Magtrabaho na lang din muna dahil ang daming dumadating na work," she said.
Sunshine will return on television via a new show with Ejay Falcon on ABS-CBN. (Sunnex)
