Albie Casino on Jaclyn Jose: I respect her

ALBIE Casino said that it was normal for Jaclyn Jose to feel uncomfortable around him following his failed romance with the actress' daughter, Andi Eigenmann.

Jaclyn and Albie almost bumped into each other on the red carpet at the PMPC Star Awards for Movies last Sunday. Jacklyn said she doesn't want to cross path with the actor, who is the father of Andi's child.

"I respect that. It's not comfortable naman for anyone involved. That's her emotion and I respect that," he said.

Albie said he is happy to learn that Andi has rekindled her romance with former boyfriend Jake Ejercito, the son of former President Joseph Estrada. "I'm happy for her. Good for her. No more negative energy for anyone involved," he said.

"Honestly I think that I have made an effort to do that. Andi is happy now so I don't think there's any need to grow the fire," he said when asked if he has plans to settle his differences with the young actress.

Albie is now busy preparing for his upcoming project with TV5. His contract with ABS-CBN expired last October.

Albie said moving to the Kapatid Network doesn't signal a new start for his career, but rather a continuation of what he's been doing for quite some time now.
