BB Gandanghari thankful for brother's support

BB GANDANGHARI appreciates the support and understanding he is getting from his brother, Rommel Padilla.

After he made public his true gender preference via a reality TV show, the media highlighted BB's shaky relationship with his younger brother, Robin Padilla, who seemed hesitant to accept his older brother's changed image.

But unlike Robin, BB shared that his other sibling, Rommel, supports him and would often cheer him up and offer his acceptance.

"It's not all that bad. Of course yung sa amin ni Robin is one thing, pero meron din part naman ng family, like Rommel, who is very understanding as far as the present situation is concern. Balanse naman somehow," he said in a recent interview.

BB said he treats his relationship with Rommel as a blessing because.

Rommel even watched his recently concluded hit theater production "Halik ng Tarantula" (Kiss of the Spider Woman) with actors Jet Alcantara and Jovic Monsod. He came to the show with his sons in tow.

The actor also shared that Rommel once wanted to bridge the gap between him and Robin. But BB said he doesn’t want to force anything to anyone and they’ll patch things up when the right time comes.

"Lagi namang ganun yun. Sa ngayon, dumating na sa punto na hindi na lang namin pinag-uusapan kasi alam namin na maaayos na lang yan one of these days, BB said, referring to his misunderstanding with Robin.

Also, BB revealed that he is close to Rommel's son and promising young actor Daniel Padilla.

BB described his nephew as someone who is very understanding, respectful, brought up nicely by Rommel and former partner Karla Estrada, and someone who will carry the Padilla name in the entertainment business.

"He's very respectful. Yun ang gusto ko sa batang iyan. He just takes me as I am," he ended. (Sunnex)
