Nikki Gil cites ‘differences in values’ as the reason behind split with Billy Crawford-A A +A

"I'M FINE. I'm fabulous, thank you."
This was the immediate response of singer/television host Nikki Gil when asked on her
condition right after the break-up with long-time boyfriend Billy Crawford.
The 26-year-old said she's getting along well especially with the continuous love and support of her close friends and family. Also during her testing time, she sought solace in God.
"(It's more of) letting go, forgiveness and understanding. I was very blessed to have a very prayerful family and supportive friends," she said.
Nikki added that after the break-up, she had many questions but at the end of the day, she has forgiven Billy because it's not entirely his fault why the four-year relationship did not work out.
She hinted that "differences in values" was the reason behind their split, "It takes two to tango, mayroon din naman tayong pagkakamali and differences in values, that's really it."
Nikki then refused to give comments on the rumored reasons why they ended the relationship and said it's not her business anymore.
To recall, Billy was linked to his "It's Showtime" co-host Coleen Garcia and "Momzillas" co-star Andi Eigenmann.
He dismissed both stories and clarified that he became good friends with Andi while filming the movie but their closeness did not go beyond friendship.
Aside from the third-party angle in the break-up, the 31-year-old Fil-American singer's gender preference was also questioned by many. He immediately dismissed speculations that he's gay.
Mean time, Nikki confirmed that she received a text message from Billy on her birthday last August 23. She replied and said thank you.
When asked if there's a possibility of rekindling the romance between them, the television host said, "Maybe in due time, but not right now."
As of this posting, Nikki just finished shooting an independent film directed by seasoned director, Chito Roño. (Glaiza Jarloc/Sunnex)
