Tuesday, September 10, 2013
DOMINIQUE Cojuanco, daughter of Gretchen Barretto, said that all is well between her and aunt Marjorie Barretto's children.
"I love them. I'm with them all the time, we eat pizza every week," said the 18-year-old when asked about her relationship with Marjorie's kids, specifically with Julia and Claudia.
She also that they do not have any conflict and she's very close to her cousins.
To recall, a basher with the user handle @marjoriekabit on Instagram commented on a photo posted by Gretchen.
The said commenter questioned Marjorie's financial capacity and the closeness of the latter to Dominique, Gretchen and businessman Tony Boy Cojuangco.
The basher posted, "Dominique feels like you already gave too much for Marj's family. She even called Marj's family dependent and parasite."
Gretchen replied that her sister has a business and can afford to send her children to school. She added that they don't use the Cojuancos' money to maintain their lifestyle because she has work to support her needs.
When asked to react on the said "parasite" comment, Dominique said she doesn't want to get involved with things, "I try not to get myself into anything that any of them say because I don't want to blur my judgment."
She was also tight-lipped in the on-going conflict between her mother, aunt Claudine Barretto and grandmother Inday.
At the end of the day, Dominique said she wants everything fixed because they're family.
In the meantime, the 18-year-old will be leaving the country soon to pursue her fashion design course in London.
Dominique said she's flying next week with her mother but was happy to attend this year's Star Magic Ball before her Euro trip.
Gretchen's only daughter attended the annual celebrity event with Enchong Dee.
According to Dominique, she was shocked when her mom told her that the actor is asking her to be his date on the ball, "I've never met him before but my mom said he's a nice guy."
Enchong said he asked Dominique because he wants to meet new friends and he's very close to Gretchen, whom he starred opposite in "Magkaribal."
"Ngayon pa lang talaga kami magkakakilala. Ayoko magpunta ng solo and gusto ko maging productive yung gabi ko and I want to meet a new friend," Enchong said.
Enchong denied he's courting Dominique. (Glaiza Jarloc/Sunnex)
