ANDI Eigenmann said she was hurt when people started to call her "ahas (snake)," not only in reference to her character in
new series "Galema," but also during the time when her name was dragged in Nikki Gil-Billy Crawford break-up.
The Kapamilya actress said some people's comments offended her, especially those from her bashers on Twitter and Instagram because she doesn't have anything to do with the ex-couple.
The 23-year-old old worked with Billy in "Momzillas" when the news of the latter's split made public.
"Hindi man ako makapag-post ng Instagram or Twitter kasi kahit anong sabihin ko, mina-masama nila, lalo na pag related sa trabaho ko. Na-hurt ako pero it didn't affect me so much because hindi naman totoo," she said.
Andi added that she's much better now after Billy cleared her name from the controversy.
"The truth will always prevail and 'yung mga intriga, normal lang naman 'yun sa amin ang it's part of the job, na makasama sa mga issue or mapasama sa mga intriga. Everything's fine. At least now I know not to let it get to me," Andi said.
She is a bit worried over the reaction of ex-boyfriend Jake Ejercito, who according to Andi, is in Singapore. She doesn't want her friendship with Jake to be ruined by another issue.
Andi said, "He's really busy with his school work. I realized that I know who I am and nagsasabi naman ako ng totoo. If the person can’t trust me, then that's not my problem because I'm really am doing everything I can. That's out of my hands already."
Right now, Andi said her main focus is work and providing a happy and stable home to her daughter, Ellie.
Although she's doing project after project, Andi said Ellie became her inspiration and motivation to carry on with her life.
"Tulog? Ano 'yun? lahat ng free time ko, gusto ko kay Ellie. Lahat kasi ng trabaho, kahit gaano kapagod, para sa kanya 'yun. Pag nakikita ko na si Ellie, nawawala 'yung pagod ko," the actress also said.
Andi is slated to return on television this September 30 via remake of "Galema: Anak ni Zuma." She's reunited with first love team and "Agua Bendita" leading man, Matteo Guidicelli.
The young actress said people can relate to the series because director Wenn Deramas made sure to give a modern twist to the story
"It's such an exciting project. Alam namin na kahit mahirap siyang gawin, it's an opportunity for us to show what we've got or what we can do. It's something fun,"Andi said.
Joining Andi and Matteo in "Galema" are Carlos Morales, Meg Imperial, Derick Hubalde, Lito Legazpi, Divina Valencia, Sunshine Cruz and Sheryl Cruz. (Glaiza Jarloc/Sunnex)
