ACTRESS Judy Ann Santos asked the public not to easily judge her close friend, megastar Sharon Cuneta, on the latter's recent Twitter outburst.

On Wednesday, Sharon defended her husband, Francis Pangilinan, against the speech of Senator Jinggoy Estrada on the alleged misuse of the former senator of his priority development assistance fund (PDAF).

Sharon said she's willing to give P10 million cash to anyone who can prove that Pangilinan took advantage of the people's money.

In an interview Thursday, Judy Ann said she understands Sharon's sentiments because her husband was one of those mentioned in the speech.

Walang mali at karapatan nila yun," she said.

She believes that Sharon's reaction was magnified by the media because she's part of the entertainment industry and she's a public figure.

"Nama-magnify lang si Ate kasi she's a celebrity. Lahat na lang ng sabihin niya, negative. Wag naman," she said.

Meanwhile, the seasoned actress declined to comment on the involvement of two actors, Senators Estrada and Bong Revilla, in the PDAF scam.

She said all eyes are on them because they built a name for themselves even before they ran for public office.

May ibang politicians din naman na involved and hindi lang masyadong nailalabas because they're not celebrities," Judy Ann said.

She stressed the public has the right to know where the taxes are going.

Let's go to the bottom of this and let's finish this already.

When asked if she has plans to enter politics in the future, Juday immediately replied "Wala. Tatakbo ako palayo." (Sunnex)
