CELEBRITY couple Melai Cantiveros and Jason Francisco are set to exchange wedding vows in December.

The two faced the entertainment press Thursday during the "Honesto" press launch at the Executive Lounge in ABS-CBN.

Melai shared they are still finalizing their entourage but confirmed that "Queen of All Media" Kris Aquino will definite be one of their godparents.

The couple said, Kris is very special to them because they grew closer when the television host tapped them to join in morning talk show "Kris TV."

Their friends from the entertainment business are also invited.

The wedding will be held in General Santos City, the hometown of Melai.

Meanwhile, the 25-year-old Cantiveros is back on television with a 4-month baby bump.

Melai said she feels much better now after surviving the first trimester of her pregnancy.

"'Yung first three months nahirapan talaga ako, ganoon pala ang paglilihi kasi nagsusuka ako, pero normal lang pala 'yun. Ngayon okay na ang pakiramdam ko. Okay na 'yung katawan ko," said Melai.

Her baby news prompted the press to clarify whether it's a planned baby or an unplanned pregnancy.

Jason, 26, said they both wanted to start a family after they got back together early this year. He also reiterated that while they were still inside the Pinoy Big Brother house, they have already talked about settling down in their mid-twenties.

"Pinaghandaan naman talaga na mabuo 'yan, three months nga ginawa e," said Jason.

Parang same question and same answer, so ito bago and good news talaga," said Jason.

The comedian said it's a mutual decision and he would let Melai do something she doesn't like.

Jason also shared that he already hinted the baby news when we interviewed him a couple of months back, but couldn't break the story as they were still in the first trimester of Melai's pregnancy.

Melai added that since they rekindled the romance early this year, Jason changed for the better. He's more responsible now and always takes care of her needs.

She said, "Nung nagkabalikan kami naramdaman ko na talaga 'yung pag mature, part 'yun ng pagpaplano namin. Nasa calendar namin 'yun.

She was then asked to comment on the worried remarks of best friend Angelica Panganiban and her other "Banana Split" co-stars.

The comedienne said she understands their sentiment but she's a bit hurt because they don't know who Jason is in real life.

Jason said he's never been close to Angelica and friends. He added that her family in the province also reacted when the actress gave out the said interview.

Gusto ko maging isang mabuting ama," he ended. (Sunnex)
