Celebrities laud Pacquiao’s win-A A +A

LOCAL showbiz personalities were among the first ones to congratulate and celebrate the latest win of boxing champion Manny Pacquiao against American boxer Brandon Rios.
The much-anticipated match was held at The Venetian Macao's Cotai Arena in Macau and was attended by more than 1,300 people.
Among those who watched the total domination of Pacquiao in the ring are showbiz couple Annabelle Rama and Eddie Gutierrez. They were accompanied by daughter Ruffa and Richard's girlfriend Sarah Lahbati.
Ruffa posted photos and videos of the match on her official Instagram page. She then applauded Manny on this latest win.
Ruffa said, "The one and only champion! Mabuhay ka Manny Pacquiao!"
Brothers Senator Tito and Vic Sotto are also in Macau for the fight. The latter's girlfriend, television host Pauleen Luna posted photos of them watching the game.
GMA-7 Primetime King Dingdong Dantes was also at The Venetia with cousins Arthur Solinap and Carlo Gonzalez. The three even bumped with coach Freddie Roach the day before the big event.
Kapamilya showbiz couple Maja Salvador and Gerald Anderson also made sure to watch Manny face Rios.
Other celebrities who went to Macau to witness the match are Phil Younghusband, Steven Silva, Rocco Nacino, JC de Vera, Manila Mayor Erap Estrada and son Jake Ejercito, Cesar Montano, Philip Salvador and "The Voice of the Philippines" coach Apl.de.Ap.
Retired footballer and former England international David Beckham also traveled to Macau just to watch and support Manny.
In a news article published by UK-based paper Daily Mirror, Beckham was quoted saying he's a "big fan of Manny."
The two met in 2011 in Manila when the footballer and his LA Galaxy teammates played a friendly match against the Philippine Azkals. David even gave his jersey to Manny after the game.
Mean time stars who decided to watch the much-awaited Pacquiao-Rios match in the country also sent their congratulatory message to Manny through social media.
Kapuso star Marian Rivera posted on Instagram, "Thank you for uplifting the Filipino spirit, in this time of trouble and despair. Mabuhay ka Kuya Manny."
Denise Laurel meanwhile tweeted, "So proud of how Manny answers it's tough trying to talk with that noise in the background he's come a long way."
Mr. Pure Energy Gary Valenciano also said that the old Manny Pacquaio is back while young singer Rhap Salazer believes this latest win of Manny is a success for the whole nation.
