Vice Ganda advises Anne Curtis to stay strong-A A +A
Thursday, December 5, 2013
THIS too shall pass.
This was the gist of comedian Vice Ganda's advice to his close friend and co-host Anne Curtis, who receives criticisms over a slapping incident reported recently.
In an interview with Vice on Wednesday evening at the grand press launch of his Metro Manila Film Festival entry "Girl Boy Bakla Tomboy," the Kapamilya star said that Anne is coping well amid the controversy.
Vice said the actress decided not to read tweets on social networking sites and has returned to her regular routine, which is hosting ABS-CBN's noon time variety show "It's Showtime."
Vice said he was clueless about what happened at a luxury club in The Fort, Taguig City last November 23. It was only explained to him when the issue started to make headlines both on newspapers and social media.
He said Anne didn't see the need to disclose the incident as it was ironed out immediately. She also apologized to all parties involved.
The Kapamilya star added that he doesn't blame anyone, as he's not in the scene when the reported slapping happened, but he's disappointed that people are fast to cast their judgment on Anne.
Vice said, "Hindi ako nainis sa kahit kanino man.
For someone who also received negative criticisms before, Vice's only advice to Anne is move on and stay strong during this difficult time.
He said things will not get better in the next couple of days, or weeks even, and the only thing she could do is seek guidance from the Almighty.
Wag mong i-prioritize 'yung sakit," he said.
That's why you have to be strong," he ended. (Sunnex)
