Raymart Santiago parties with the Barrettos-A A +A

ACTOR Raymart Santiago attended a family Christmas Party with estranged wife Claudine Barretto's sisters Marjorie and Gretchen.
Based from an Instagram post by Gretchen on Thursday evening, the Kapuso actor joined her, Marjorie and brothers Mito and J.J. in the small family gathering.
Also present during the event were Gretchen's long-time partner Tony Boy Cojuangco, daughter Dominique, Marjorie's kids, their niece and nephews, and close friends of the family.
The sighting of Raymart with Gretchen followed an earlier appearance of the two at the Marikina Regional Trial Court for the Permanent Protection Order and Custody hearing filed by Claudine.
Although Claudine was a no-show during Thursday's court meeting, Gretchen still took the witness stand.
In a TV Patrol interview, the Kapamilya actress confirmed reports that her very own father, Miguel Barretto, threatened to shoot her, Marjorie and J.J. if they will testify against Claudine.
"Sabi ng tatay ko na kapag nag witness si JJ, si Marjorie at ako, babarilin niya daw kami. So, andito ako, may takot pero haharapin ko ito kasi ito ang katotohanan," said Gretchen.
Contrary to what people think, Gretchen, who became emotional over their long-standing family rift, said she's taking the witness stand not because she hate Claudine, but she wants to help her younger sister.
She said, "I love her with all my heart dahil kung hindi ko siya mahal, wala ako dito. Hindi ko ipaglalaban ito... 'yung tama."
She reiterated this is for Claudine's own good.
"'Yun ang pinagdadasal namin, na she will get the treatment that she needs para maayos naman ang buhay niya at maging safe siya. At sana matapos na ang mga kasama niya," the actress said.
She added, "Right now napag-alamanan ko na she has nine cases. Halos araw-araw na lang ata andito siya at nakakapagod 'yun, that's very stressful. It's not healthy for her and the children."
Gretchen also said that she will not get tired of coming to court until things are settled with her sister.
"Paulit ulit nila akong tatawagan, paulit ulit ako darating dito," she ended.
Sun.Star contacted Claudine's counsel, Atty. Ferdinand Topacio, for their official statement on Thursday's hearing, but as of this posting, the latter failed to return our messages. (Sunnex)
