TELEVISION host Willie Revillame spoke on rumors that he lost millions in the casino.

In an exclusive interview with veteran columnists Ricky Lo and Lolit Solis in "StarTalk" on Saturday, Willie didn't dispel the rumors, instead he said he’s just enjoying his hard earned money.

"Kung nagpapatalo ako sa casino ng P100, P200 or P300 million, pera ko naman na pinaghirapan yan. Naglilibang ako, nage-enjoy ako," Willie said.

He added, "Hindi ako nagpapatalo in the sense na talagang nagsusugal ka, minsan naglilibang ka sa sarili mo. You work so hard. And importante na hindi ko ninanakaw yung perang ginagamit ko."

But the television host clarified that his sightings in casinos located inside the hotels doesn't automatically mean he's in the establishment to gamble, but most of the time he's also meeting business partners or clients in the said establishments.

Willie also clarified reports that he sold "Wil Events Place" in Quezon City because he's short of cash.

He explained that with the operations of "Wil Tower Mall" beside ABS-CBN Compound, businesses would rather go there than his earlier property.

"Bago pa ito (Wil Tower) binebenta ko na kasi conflict yan. Hindi nakikita yun kasi may mall ka na," he said.

Willie bought the Wil Tower Mall lot (est. 4500 square meters) during his "Wowowee" days and partnered with former Senator Manny Villar in the development of the said property.

The TV host disclosed he's handling the basement parking, the whole mall (three levels), owns a big unit in the fourth floor and the whole 39th to 42nd floors, including the helipad.

Villar on the other hand is handling the operations of the remaining condominium units.

When it comes to his other properties, Willie disclosed he's keen to sell his Tagaytay Highlands house because it's too big for him.

But he clarified that constructions is still underway in his 4000 square meters lot in Madrigal. He said a five-star hotel will soon rise in the area.

Willie added that he still owns three yachts and one private plane. As a matter of fact, the latter was commissioned by Canadian pop superstar Justin Bieber during his latest trip in Tacloban.

A company from the States contacted his people for the lease of the aircraft.

The TV hos said, "Wala kaming kaalam-alam, kasi minsan nag email lang. Even my pilot (walang alam). Then nag-text siya sa akin na 'Sir, alam mo ba kung sinong nakasakay sa plane mo, si Justin Bieber.' Sabi ko 'oh come on.' Then tumawag ako and totoo. Nung tumawag 'yung mga nagpa-book, walang tao sa hangar kasi very VIP daw."

The TV host also said he's used to this kind of rumors in the business and his only concern right now is to continue his business plans and help people in the Visayas.

"Ganoon naman sa industriyang ito, pag nawalan ka ng trabaho, naghihirap ka na," he said.

Willie is in Tacloban on Sunday to mount a small show for the victims of Typhoon Yolanda.

He initially donated P10 million to the Department of Social Welfare and Development for the affected families in Visayas. (Sunnex)
