Jennylyn on Luis, Angel: I wish them well-A A +A
Tuesday, January 21, 2014
"I WISH them well."
This was the short reply of Kapuso actress Jennylyn Mercado when asked about the reported reconciliation of Luis Manzano, her former boyfriend, and actress Angel Locsin.
"For now I don't want to talk about it. Kung meron man na issue about them, siguro sila na lang tanungin ninyo kasi ako, wala na ako sa posisyon para magsalita," Jennylyn said.
She added that it was not proper to point fingers on who's at fault and what's the real reason behind the split or who initiated the break-up.
"Alam na yun ng mga tao, matatalino na ngayon ang mga tao. I don't think kailangan ko pang magpaliwanag kung anong nangyari, or sinong may kasalanan," she said.
"Hindi importante kung sino ang may kasalanan. Ang kailangan ko ngayon ay mag move on, kailangan maging masaya and alagaan ko ang pamilya ko, ang sarili ko and my career," she added.
For now, the actress said that she's more motivated to work and focus her attention on her son Alex Jazz, her family and show biz career.
When asked if she's still hurting because of the collapse of her relationship with Luis, the actress pondered a bit before answering.
"Hindi ko alam... hindi ko alam kung anong isasagot ko. Sa ngayon ayoko muna ng complications. Wala itong kinalaman sa akin and basta ako out na ako diyan. Kung may gusto kayong itanong, sa kanila na lang at 'wag sa akin," she said.
"I think I'm okay, I'm happy. Kahit ano naman ang mangyari kailangan kong mag move on at 'yun ang dapat gawin sa mga oras na ito," she added.
The actress revealed she's not the type who can easily fall out of love after a break-up. She added that it's a process as she's the type who gives her everything in the relationship.
Jennylyn said that there's no expiration date when it comes to love.
"Pag na-inlove ako, ibibigay ko lahat. Pag nag mahal ako, mamahalin ko talaga ng sobra. I think yung pagkawala ng nararamdaman, para sa akin hindi ko 'yun ginagawa. Talagang matagal," she said.
Jennylyn said she is not ready to entertain suitors and she wants to allot some time for herself.
"It's too soon. Hindi pa talaga. Parang I just came from a break-up and hindi pa kaya at wala akong plano kahit ano. Unahin ko muna yung trabaho ko, yung pamilya ko at yung sarili ko sa ngayon," she said.
Asked if she's more careful now in choosing her next partner after her failed relationships, Jennylyn said: "Kahit ano pa yan, sino pa yan, kahit anong estado niyang sa buhay, kahit ano pa siya, tatanggapin mo talaga."
Jennylyn and Luis dated for two years before ending their romance in October. One week after the said break-up, Angel and footballer Phil Younghusband called it quits. (Sunnex)
