Businessman: Vhong Navarro tried to rape his friend-A A +A
Monday, January 27, 2014
BUSINESSMAN Cedric Lee is standing by the blotter report at the Southern Police District that actor-comedian Vhong Navarro attempted to rape his 22-year-old friend, model Deniece Millet Cornejo.
In a “TV Patrol” interview, Lee maintained that in the evening of January 22, he, his sister and a friend were supposed to pick up Cornejo from her condominium unit in Taguig City. Upon reaching the door of the condo, they heard some screaming and commotion inside the unit.
"So, we thought may nag-aaway lang. fortunately, the door was unlock and we were able to go inside. Wala namang tao sa sala tapos dumiretcho kami sa bedroom, kasi yung bedroom naman nila ay kurtina lang at walang pintuan," he said.
Lee claimed they caught Navarro doing sexual advances on Cornejo.
Ang instict ko, I grabbed him from the back and hinila ko siya pababa ng kama," he said.
He confirmed that they tied him up with duct tape and initially planned to call the police for help. But Lee alleged that Navarro retaliated and started to throw punches at him. By that time, Lee's friends arrived in the condo unit.
Lee confirmed that they brought him to SPD headquarters, also located in Fort Bonifacio, but Navarro begged Deniece not to file any charges.
He said the police officers themselves convinced the model to take legal actions against Navarro.
Lee maintained Navarro signed the blotter report voluntarily, in front of the police officer, and they did not force him to do it.
The businessman also refuted Navarro's claims that he extorted P1 million from the comedian. He said the amount came up as payment for the damaged properties in Cornejo's condo unit.
It contradicts to what he is saying. How can someone who's so scared be such a good negotiator?" he said.
Lee said he was forced to come out because the issue is blown out of proportion. He said that he will also file a case against Navarro.
(Sunnex)
