THE name of the singer-actress Vina Morales was not spared from the Vhong Navarro mauling controversy.

The day after Navarro dropped the names of his attackers on national television, Morales, the ex-girlfriend of the alleged perpetrator Cedric Lee, posted a photo on her Instagram account saying: "No need for revenge. Just sit back & wait. Those who hurt you will eventually screw up themselves & if you’re lucky, God will let you watch."

On the same day, she posted, "Sometimes, it's best to stay quiet, the silence can speak volumes without ever saying a word."

Lee is the father of Morales' four-year-old daughter.

Morales was at first silent on reason behind their split up.

However, last year, in an ABS-CBN interview, Morales said that she is a member of "9262 Club," referring to victims of violence, described in the Republic Act 9262 or the Anti-Violence Against Women and their Children Act of 2004. (Sunnex)
