Sarah Geronimo reunites with Coco Martin-A A +A
Saturday, February 8, 2014
POP Princess Sarah Geronimo and Prince of Indie films Coco Martin will star in a new romantic comedy-drama movie under Star Cinema.
The two recently gathered for the story conference of the said project.
Martin said that he is excited to work again with Geronimo and at the same time he felt pressured because the singer has produced box-office hits like "A Very Special Love," "You Changed My Life," and "It Takes A Man and A Woman".
"Pag sinabi mong Sarah Geronimo, mataas ang expectation ng tao. Sanay ako sa indie at kungbaga, doon yung nakasanayan kong mundo. Ngayon papasok ako sa mundo ng mainstream at si Sarah pa ang makakasama ko. Honestly, malaking pressure sa akin," he said in a "TV Patrol" interview.
Geronimo, for her part, remembered the television successes of "Juan dela Cruz," "Minsan Lang Kita Iibigin," and 2012 hit "Walang Hanggan."
She admitted that she's a big fan of the actor she is looking forward to working with him again.
"Ang galing galing niya talaga, so dapat sa pagkakataon na ito makahabol ako sa kanya. Pagtrabahuan ko talaga ng husto."
To recall, both Kapamilya actors starred the 2010 musical comedy-drama "Idol". The program ran for one month and was cancelled after 35 episodes.
Meanwhile, Ruffa Gutierrez, who is also part of the new movie, said she's a big fan of both actors.
"Isa siya sa mga mahuhusay na artista natin ngayon and performer. To be able to work with her, excited ako," she said of Geronimo.
Gutierrez will play as a PR executive who mentors Geronimo and will eventually meet Martin's character.
The Jerry Lopez Sineneng movie will start filming this February. (Sunnex)
